College
Scottish Church College, founded in July 1830 by Rev. Dr. Alexander Duff, the first overseas missionary from Church of Scotland, is one of the leading higher education institutions in India. The college is presently owned and administered by the Church of North India (CNI). The College is the second oldest in North Calcutta and has produced numerous outstanding people, chief among them being Swami Vivekananda and Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose. The College has been awarded Grade A by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). The College offers the following courses of study in the B.A. / B.Sc. streams.
